About SMALL STAR SEMINAR:
A singing motivational speaker urges people to give up their goals, stop reaching for the stars and to start looking for the stars within their own minds. The performance features optimistic songs about quitting, accepting one's own limitations, the power of sitting quietly, and the theory of "Deep Astronomy". This project has been featured and developed in part through the Sundance Film Festival, NY Film Festival, Lincoln Center Film Society, Reykjavik Film International Festival, 36th Stage Songs Review (Wrocław, Poland) and Marfa Film Festival.

All performances are being documented for use in an upcoming feature film, written and directed by Cory McAbee. Audience participation is welcome.
