The Noam Lemish Quartet
The Noam Lemish Quartet presents an evening of original music and songs featuring:

Pianist/Composer extraordinaire Noam Lemish returns to the Occidental Center for the Arts to lead a fierce and lyrical ensemble that features a sterling cast of improvisers presenting an all new program of original music and songs. The program will feature jazz works inspired by diverse sources as Bach, Beethoven, Soviet-Jewish songs, Israeli and Middle-Eastern songs, the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke and much more. Noam Lemish is a multi-faceted artist whose performances and compositions, often characterized by intense longing and energy, defy categorization. He is currently based out of Toronto, Canada. He has several recordings to his credit, including a brand new 2016 release The Turning. www.noamlemish.com. This marks Lemish's third appearance at the Occidental Center for the Arts following his presentation of "The People's King: Music from the Himalayas" in 2013 and the premiere of W.A.
