Sweetheart Mixer 2016

Join us for drinks and appetizers while we honor two members of the Edgewater community who make it a better place to live and do business!

We will be presenting the Sweetheart of Edgewater award to Bob Remer in recognition of his work as past Edgewater Community Council President, past 48th Ward Democratic Committeeman, and current Edgewater Historical Society President, among other contributions to our community.

We will also present the Pride of Edgewater award to Father Michael Garanzini of Loyola University Chicago. His tenure as President of the university from 2001-2015 saw him contributing an extraordinary amount to the Edgewater community. From lobbying for safer streets to investing millions in capital improvements, Edgewater owes a lot to Fr. Garanzini's dedication to building a stronger, more secure neighborhood.
