Our April Network Night will feature a panel that shares the current status of the different demonstration projects and consultations sponsored by or supported by the Ministries of Education and Human Services, that have or are occurring to date. We have invited: Dr. Chris Smith, Muttart Foundation to talk about the consultation related to Early Childhood Care Workforce and Training, Mt. Royal and participants to talk about Phase II and III of the Curriculum Framework, representative from the Ministries of Human Services and Education to speak to the Pre-School/Kindergarten Demonstration Project and the opportunity that the recommendations might present, and Dr. Karen Benzies, U of C, to talk about the Welcome to Parenthood Pilot project.
Panelists will present for 15-20 minutes and then either have an open question period or convene tables for participants to have a more focused conversation about the topic.
