THE BOBS - ASAWA SOTA JAZZ VOCAL CHOIR BENEFIT
Manhattan Transfer meets Monty PythonRobin Williams meets Bobby McFerrinJ.S. Bach meets Jimi Hendrix: Grammy-nominated vocal acrobats, THE BOBS.
This original "band without instruments" has been skewering the classics, breaking all the rules and clear-cutting their own unique path in the world of vocal music for over 30 years, playing everywhere from Lincoln Center to Berlin's Passionkirche.
Angie Doctor, SOTA Jazz Choir Director And Vocal Department Artist-in-Residence, has plans to take the Jazz Choir to Southern California this Spring, for the Oceanside Jazz Festival in April. To fund this venture, she called on her old friends, The Bobs, with whom she performed, and apparently still does - next weekend, at the Dan Kryston.
For one night only, The Bobs descend on the Dan Kryston Theatre, and nothing will ever be the same again....
General Admission. Every seat is a great seat.
