Fatelessness/ Father, Father
Two Night event February 19th and 20th of the performative staged readings "Fatelessness" and "Father, Father." Produced by Voice of the City and Theatre Y.
On the first night Feb. 19th at 7 pm: "Fatelessness" a dance piece performed to a radio play (adapted by Andràs Visky and Adam Boncz) from the novel Fatelessness by Imre Kertész. Featuring Michael Doonan (Voice) & Ben Wardell (Dance), Directed by Melissa Lorraine, Sound Design by Kimberly Sutton, Assistant Director by Aileen McGroddy,and Dramaturgy by Dan Christmann.
The second night Feb. 20th at 7 pm: "Father, Father" a documentary theater piece written by Dawn Marie Galtieri and directed by Abu Ansary. A telling of the complex circumstances surrounding the death of Marquette University student and wrestler, Wally Spence, in April 1978.
Tickets are $20 for one night and $30 for both nights.
