In the Next Room, or, the Vibrator Play by Sarah Ruhl. In the dawn of the age of electricity, a mild-mannered scientist, Dr. Givings, has invented a new electrically powered device for treating hysteria: the vibrator. Meanwhile, his unhappily married wife wonders just what the doctor is doing "in the next room." Nominated for 2010 Tony Award for Best Play and selected as a finalist for the 2010 Pulitzer Prize. Directed by Mike A'Dair. Plays February 12 through February 28.
