Barrel-Aged Devils' Teeth Variants & White Wine Barrel-Aged Funky Universal Friend Release Party!
Get ready for beer magic. We've been monitoring, tinkering with, and generally obsessing over all of these beers for months, and we're finally ready to let you enjoy the tasty, tasty fruits of our labor. Up for grabs are 3 barrel-aged variants of our outrageously decadent Devils' Teeth imperial stout/old ale hybrid as well as the complex, fruity wizardry of our White Wine Barrel-Aged Funky Universal Friend Saison with Pinot grigio must. RIGHT?! We know.
We'll be having a casual bottle pick-up party on Thursday, January 21st at the Lomaland Fermentorium beginning at 12pm, so come by, grab your bottles and get rad with us! Details below:
DEVILS' TEETH AGED IN BOURBON BARRELS
Devil's Teeth is a hybrid of an Old Ale and an Imperial Stout, two English beer styles designed to withstand long voyages and dark winters. It brings rich maltiness & robust roastiness in a thick, tongue-coating, aggressively flavorful package. To this chewy mix of old world beasts, we added another awesome dimension: punchy, fragrant bourbon barrels, which gave this beer a poppin' aroma & flavor. Bottles Available: 800

DEVILS' TEETH AGED IN BOURBON BARRELS WITH BOURBON BARREL AGED COFFEE
The legendary beer we had on-tap at the welcome party. We upped the ante on the base beer with some delicious bourbon barrel-aged coffee. The result is a ludicrously flavorful beer with notes of burnt marshmallow, caramel, and oak. Bottles available: 800 / Limit: 2

DEVILS' TEETH AGED IN BOURBON BARRELS WITH ALMOND, VANILLA, & COCOA NIBS
We took the Bourbon Barrel-Aged Devils' Teeth and added almonds, vanilla, & cocoa nibs to the mix, resulting in a ludicrously flavorful beer featuring a melange of dessert-like flavors. Took a lot of tinkering to get this combination right, but it turned our extremely well in the end. Bottles available: 725

FUNKY UNIVERSAL FRIEND AGED IN WHITE WINE BARRELS
An alarmingly delicious rendition of this complex saison. Brewed with a hefty portion of Pinot grigio grape must, then aged in white wine barrels for 2 years. After an initial fermentation with our house Lomaland yeast blend, we threw in a whole slew of different funky bugs, including our two house Brett strains, and let them do their thing for months on end. The result is complex, tart, and utterly unique. Bottles available: 460

BOTTLE PURCHASE DETAILS:
Starting Wednesday, 1/13/2016 at 10am for League members and Tuesday, 1/19/2016 at 10am for the general public, you will be able to purchase tickets good for up to 2 bottles of each Devils' Teeth variant and 1 bottle of Funky Universal Friend Aged in White Wine Barrels. The general public will be able to pick-up bottles at the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room during the period from 12pm on Thursday, 1/21/2016, until 10pm on Thursday, 3/17/2016. League members will have until Thursday, 4/14/2016 to pick up their bottles. Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made to either the bottle limit, nor the pick-up window and PROXIES ARE NOT ALLOWED. You cannot pick-up your bottles at the North Park Flavordome. **Any bottles not retrieved by Thursday, 3/17/2016 (Thursday, 4/14/2016 for League members) will be surrendered back to the brewery (NO exceptions).** Please read the additional details below for further information on proxies and bottle pickup names.
RELEASE PARTY:
Your tickets admit you to a release party on 1/21/2016 at the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room starting at 12pm. This will be the easiest and most fun day to pick-up your bottles. We will have some cool stuff on-tap, and it'll be a damn good time. If you've been meaning to visit us to buy some of our super rad glassware, a couple bags of our awesome house roasted coffee, and a shirt or two, this is the time to do it.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
In order to pick-up your bottles, you will need to show your valid photo ID; it must be your ID and the name MUST match the name on the credit card of the ticket buyer (i.e. only you can pick up your bottles; no proxies). Any sales that attempt to work around the bottle limit will be voided. Only purchase bottles if you are 100% positive you can personally pick-up your bottles within the pick-up window; any bottles not picked up before Thursday, 3/17/2016 (Thursday, 4/14/2016 for League members) will be surrendered back to Modern Times Beer.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES:
Please note that we will not issue refunds, exchanges, or returns. All sales are final.
SHIPPING:
We will not ship the bottles. Bottles must be retrieved at the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room during regular tasting room hours between 12pm on 1/21/2016 and 10pm on Thursday, 3/17/2016 (Thursday, 4/14/2016 for League members).
