Hangar 24 Barrel Roll Club Chandelle
On Saturday, January 23rd, 2015, Hangar 24 is releasing Barrel Roll Series Chandelle.
On top of the one bottle of Chandelle that will be included in the second quarter pickup (date TBA), members are able to purchase 3 additional bottles ($20 each) outside of the public release. Members can then either pickup these bottles on January 23rd, or at their next quarter pickup along with that quarter's selection and the included bottle of Chandelle. Members can also attend the general public sale on January 23rd, where those in line at 11am may purchase 3 bottles per person.
CHANDELLE represents a perfect balance of fruit and funk, marrying the bright flavors of Golden Sweet apricots with the oak-aged complexity of sour beer. It begins as a blonde ale brewed with both malted and unmalted wheat, a blank canvas which is laid down in freshly emptied white wine barrels and topped off with our house souring culture. Over the course of a year these yeast and bacteria transform the liquid, bringing forth a beer that is both deeply funky and refreshingly sour. The barrels are then blended back together just before the final addition- a generous helping of fresh apricots plucked from Blossom Bluff Orchards in Central California. The tart flavors and aromas of the fresh fruit perfectly balance the acidic, bracingly sour base developed in the barrel.

*You must be 21 or older to purchase.
*Extra bottles: If you purchase more than 3 bottles, you will be refunded for the bottles purchased (but NOT the service fees) without notice.
*The purchaser must be the Barrel Roll Club Member.
*Pickup: Bottles must be picked up on Saturday, January 23rd, after 11:00am at the Hangar 24 Tasting Room, 1710 Sessums Drive, OR at the next quarter Club pickup (date TBA.) If you miss the pickup window, your bottles will be forfeited and you will not receive a refund.
*No refunds or exchanges will be allowed.
