GIRL Theatre presents "Into the Red", an original piece exploring the complex challenges and virtues of growing up as a young woman. A girl travels into the Red, an underworld of lost women who tell diverse stories of womanhood through music, dance, and a 20series of vignettes. They expose the overwhelming fears and gifts familiar to young women and girls as they navigate the complexities of a male-centric world. Their message issues strength, provoking a question with no easy answer: what does it mean to be a woman?
