May 23rd Bellingham City Club Program
Bellingham City Club will feature a presentation on the dynamics of globalization as they have impacted the labor force in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Our speaker will be Thomas Collombat, Ph.D., Visiting Assistant Professor of Quebec Studies at Western Washington University. Among other issues, he will speak about the effects of free trade agreements, jobs offshoring and the growing influence of multinational corporations on organized labor throughout North America.
