Weekend Writer's Workshop: An evening of new plays written by Newburyport's finest Weekend Writers.
"A second edition of fresh and exciting drama and comedy written, performed, and directed by a very talented group", says Marc Clopton, Executive Director of TASN, "Last year's show was an excellent weekend of sold-out theater, poignant, honest, and inspiring. This year's line-up promises to be no different!"
Every third weekend a group of experienced playwrights and actors gather at The Actors Studio to collaborate and workshop each other's new work. The playwrights give their pages to the actors in advance, the actors bring the words to life, suggestions are made, insight is provided, and before long new plays are born.
