The Poetry of Song & Wine: An Intimate Evening with Andre Feriante

Andre Feriante is back at the Thief after a hoppin', sold-out show last month, and this time, he'll feature special guests including Anil Prasad on tabla drums, Stella Rossi dancing Flamenco, and Michel Navedo on trumpet.

Andre will continue to play and interpret classical music and beyond, on a variety of instruments including (but definitely not limited to) Spanish guitar, jazz guitar, Spanish banjo, ukelele, and harp guitar...you never know what he's going to grab for the next piece!

The most amazing thing about Andre's shows at The Barrel Thief is how connected he is to the audience: the interplay between the performers and listeners is tangible and dynamic, and the energy is mesmerizing. It's incredible to see Andre perform in a majestic venue like Benaroya Hall (see below), and it's incredible in an entirely different way to join him in an intimate setting.

Andre's show will be accompanied by a menu of small plates as well as special wine and whiskey tasting flights designed for this event. You can come early and eat, or grab a bite during the performance.

About Andre Feriante

Feriante has traveled and played concerts internationally for over 30 years and his show is designed to move you and transport you to mystical places in your own imagining. Andre is one of the only guitarists of his generation to have studied with the great Andres Segovia. He has taken his classical training and applied it to many other string instruments and improvisation. He presents a show that is varied and full of surprises: Bach, Rumi, Leonard Cohen, Beatles, and original composition on one-of-a-kind, hand-made instruments.

Andre has an amazing annual show coming up at Benaroya Hall on Saturday, February 13th, the day before Valentine's Day.
