Healthy Cooking Foundation Class: Cooking With Whole Grains
Master the basics of whole-food, organic cooking while learning new culinary techniques and styles. In this class, we will explore how to cook with whole grains and legumes. You will be given information about various types of grains, how they are grown, nutrition information, how they are processed for human consumption, as well as traditional and modern preparation techniques. After understanding the journey from nature to the point of purchase, we take the food to the table by preparing three recipes.
All ingredients and materials are included in the class fees. Attendees will receive generous samples and printed recipes to take home. Class size limited to 25 people.
