Day of box office opens at 6:30 CASH or check only at the door About the plays: It's 1965 and the Beatles are on everyone's mind, especially the teens in this perfectly on point play set on a short but dynamic bus ride to school. In "The Great Invasion", by Emma McIntosh, each girl in the group tries to find her place in their hierarchical high school social world. By the end of the ride, and with surprising help from a cranky bus driver, one young woman briefly finds her place.
In three short vignettes we explore varied worlds of relationships and sensibilities. In "Theodore", by Meredith McCormack-Mager, the through line in each section is a teddy bear that illuminates key emotions in the characters that range from isolation and loneliness in the first scene, to worried expectation and joy in the next, and finally to the beautifully exemplified feelings that come from unexpected news.
In "Margins" by Grace Levy, three young men take the opportunity to rejoice in their natural habitat: a hidden area in a private school's library. Mixing their love of books with incredibly crafted word play, the three teenage boys use their bubbling creativity to explore world after world pulled from their rich imaginations.
