Auditions for Dance Theatre of Harlem/CityDance Summer Ballet Intensive in Washington D.C.
CityDance School & Conservatory is partnering for the third year with Dance Theatre of Harlem to offer a Summer Ballet Intensive. The second of three auditions will be held on February 6 at the CityDance School & Conservatory's Bethesda location, right off the D.C. Metro Red Line. The intensive is ideal for students interested in a challenging exploration of ballet and the allied arts with daily classes in ballet, pointe, pas de deux, modern, contemporary, jazz, and African. Other activities may include, master classes with guest artists and CityDance faculty, world dance, choreography workshops, and participation in a culminating performance.
SCHEDULE
8 - 9 YRS OLD
Ballet only: 9-10:30am
10 - 11 YRS OLD
Ballet: 9-10:30am
Contemporary: 3:30-5pm
12 - 13 YRS OLD
Ballet: 10:30 - 11:30am
Pointe (if applicable):11:30-12pm
Contemporary: 3:30 - 5pm
14 + YRS OLD
Ballet 12-1:30pm
Pointe 1:30-2:30pm
Men's class: 2:30-3:30pm
Contemporary: 3:30-5pm
