Shanna Gutierrez and Sylvia Hinz: Double Kick
While sharing a historical origins and repertoire, flute and recorder are rarely heard together in contemporary programs. Double Kick plays games between them, challenges their sonic relationships, and tears apart silence wildly. Shanna Gutierrez (flutes) and German artist Sylvia Hinz (recorders) join forces for a program eliminating the boundaries between their two classic instruments.
