The mission of This Is My Brave, Inc. is to end the stigma surrounding mental illness by sharing personal stories of individuals overcoming mental health disorders through poetry, essay and original music, live on stage.

Join us in Valparaiso, Indiana for our Chicagoland show on May 19th as we present touching essays, original narratives, and heartfelt poetry performed by 14 individuals living withor loving someone witha mental illness. The power of the human connection through the telling of personal experiences will grab hold of the audience for the shows ninety minutes and beyond.

Proceeds from this event will allow This Is My Brave to continue producing life-changing and life-saving storytelling events across the United States and beyond. In addition, it will support local mental health advocates and provide artistic opportunities for those facing adversities of many sorts.
