A group of mix-matched strangers is stranded in a boarding house during a snowstorm; A newly married couple, a peculiar spinster, a chef-like architect, a retired Army major, a strange little man, and a miserable jurist. If that wasn't enough, a policeman arrives on skis and shortly after someone is killed. As he proves everyone's background he rattles a lot of skeletons....
