Babes In Arms at Rubicon Theatre

The perfect Valentine to musical theatre. The 1937 Rodgers and Hart classic "Babes in Arms." Directed by ovation award winner, Stephanie Coltrin, the plot of this charming and effervescent tuner follows a group of teens trying to save their local summer stock theatre from being demolished. The original "I've Got a Barn" show, the film version starred Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney. The buoyant score includes "Where or When," "My Funny Valentine," "Johnny One-Note," "The Lady is a Tramp," and the title song. Charming, sweet, funny.
