Snaex, Micah Blue Smaldone, Asa Irons
micah blue smaldone and asa irons are two of maine's most elusive, and
rambling troubadours. quietly passionate, somber, open folk songs that
lilt before your ears. wandering, hushed, and epic in scope, micah's
songs have defined southern maine's sonic pallate for many listeners.
tonight doubles as a sort of homecoming as, as micah moves back to
maine after a stint in rhode island. asa irons operates on another
plane- verging on the mystical. also known for his work in witch (with
j. mascis), feathers, and deep oddball noise creatures, taboo. asa's
solo work is more on the songwriting path and maine is lucky to have
him as a resident. tonight micah and asa will be performing solo as
well as collaborating on a set together.
