The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at APL is a network of women scientists, engineers, mathematicians, technologists and SWE members within APL. Their mission is to stimulate women to achieve their full potential in careers in science/engineering/technology and to become leaders who expand the image of the science and engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life.
Notes: (1) The Junior FIRST LEGO League program requires that all teams registering for an official Jr.FLL Expo are registered as an official team for the current season with FIRST. In addition, all team members participating in the Expo must be signed up online with the team through the FIRST TIMS system, with a completed electronic consent form.
(2) Official Expos require a minimum of 5 Jr.FLL teams to participate. In the event that fewer than 5 Jr.FLL teams register for this Expo, we will work with the teams that have registered to determine whether to change the Expo to an Exhibition (not an official Expo) or to cancel the Expo altogether with the teams registering for (a) different Expo(s).
(3) If you register your team for this Expo, please bring a printed copy of your ticket to the Expo for use in the on-site check-in process.
(4) The Expo registration fee must be paid via Credit Card through the Brown Paper Ticket service. A processing fee (less than $2) is added to the base registration cost creating the final registration cost to each team. If you do not have a credit card to use to register your team, please contact STEMaction directly for assistance in completing your registration. Do not call Brown Paper Ticket for this purpose.
