Cheap Plastic Mask Screening
Be the first to see Cheap Plastic Mask before it hits festivals!
Cheap Plastic Mask is a short film about a chance encounter between two strangers in the bathroom of a Halloween party that spirals into a waking nightmare. Grounded in fully-dimensional, relatable characters responding to increasingly dark circumstances, Cheap Plastic Mask explores the horrors that lurk just outside our everyday awareness, with shocking results.
The event lasts from 7-11pm at Trigger Chicago. Trigger's front room will house the music, drinks, and party; the back room will be set up for the screenings. Seating is limited (standing room available), so we'll be showing Cheap Plastic Mask twice to accommodate. Show up for either, or both! Here's a breakdown of the night:
7:00 Doors open 7:30 Showcase of local independent trailers and shorts, First Screening of CHEAP PLASTIC MASK (approx. 45 minute total runtime). 8:30 Live music from local band BESTMAN, Suggested Donation* Bar and Popcorn 9:30 Second Screening of CHEAP PLASTIC MASK in back(20 minute runtime), while the front room keeps the party going until we close shop at 11:00.
*All proceeds from the event will go directly to Cheap Plastic Mask's 2016 festival fund.
Come party, dance, and enjoy some horror with us at Trigger Chicago!
