The beauty of "Kaiseki" in January 2016!
"Kaiseki" is one of the styles of Japanese cuisine, a course style Japanese cuisine made of various seasonal ingredients and cooked by variety of cooking methods. With monthly theme based on Japanese culture, the Japanese Kaiseki chef, Hiro Tawara will serve you a beautiful and delicious course of 5 dishes including a dessert. The theme of January event will be " New Year Celebration".
For Japanese people, how we spend and celebrate new year day is very important. We go to a shrine or pray the sunrise or on the new year day for our happiness for coming new year, We also eat a special new year dish called "Osechi Ryori" and special soup called "Ozouni". I hope you will enjoy exploring some Japanese culture and foods for new year celebration at my January event.
The menu for January will be posted soon. Stay tuned!
