Tuesdays Too - June 12
Margery Kreitman performs PAYDAY AT PUKALANI
Tsunami warnings catapult Laura and Jill from their romantic Hawaiian holiday into a frantic island race for survival. Will the couple get out alive? Can their relationship weather the storm? Will they ever see their cat Dexter again? And can a talking turtle save the day?
Margery Kreitman is a playwright and performer. Her solo works include "Bouncing", "Home Plate", "Mug Shots", "Thirtieth", and "Phenomenal Dread of Intimacy" which she has performed at various venues including The Marsh SF, The Marsh Berkeley, CounterPulse, Maui Fringe Festival, The New Conservatory Theater, Theater Rhinoceros, The O' Hanlon Center for the Arts, Venue 9 (now Shotwell Studios), SF Fringe Festival and The Plush Room. Her full length plays include "Please Wait for the Beep", "Sax and the Single Dyke", "Picture Me" and the two-woman sketch comedy show, "Digitally Yours". Her full lengths and one acts have been produced in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.
Chris Spurrell performs NIGEL: HEALTH AND EFFICIENCY
What do a magazine for the modern naturist, first published in 1900, and Ozzie Osbourne have to do with enlightenment? Why did Nigel get a spanking? Can he find true love?
"Fearless, and deeply funny. Raw, potent and animal; yet poetic, beautiful and lyrical" Ann Randolph
Chris performs as Nigel C Mentis. An alter ego, not so much for Chris as for all of us. Chris is an artist, writer and performer. He has performed at the Marsh, Stagewerx, Esalen Institute, Bawdy Storytelling, Fireside Storytelling, a.Muse and Samovar.
