DePauw University Band
Craig Paré, conductor Sunday, April 24, at 3 p.m. Green Center, Kresge Auditorium
The DePauw University Band, in preparation to record its tenth commercial compact disc this spring, will present its final concert of the year on Sunday, April 24, at 3 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium. Repertoire to be performed, then recorded in late April, will include "Liquid Compass" by Alex Shapiro and "Rio Grande" by Michael Daugherty. Featured soloist will be School of Music flute professor Anne Reynolds, performing Philip Sparke's "A Lindesfarne Rhapsody," a virtuosic work for flute and band.
Bring a non-perishable food item to the Green Center box office prior to the performance and receive a complimentary ticket to the concert!
General admission: $3 Tickets for seniors, youth and all students are free.
