DePauw University Band
Sunday, March 13 at 3 p.m. Green Center for the Performing Arts Kresge Auditorium
Join the University Band on Sunday as it presents five of the works for winds and percussion to be recorded this spring on the ensemble's tenth CD Recording Project. Included on the program, conducted by Craig Paré, will be "Fanfare for Fenway" by John Williams; "Tight Squeeze" for band and pre-recorded tape by Alex Shapiro; "Aria" (Cantilena) from Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5 for woodwind choir by Heitor Villa Lobos; "Everything Beautiful" by Samuel Hazo; and "Rio Grande" by Michael Daugherty.
Bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry and receive a complimentary ticket.
General admission: $3 Tickets for seniors, youth and all students are free.
