In the thirteen years that Krista Tippett has hosted her nationally beloved radio program and podcast "On Being" (first called "Speaking of Faith"), Tippett has interviewed extraordinary voices examining the great questions of meaning for our time. Scientists, theologians, poets, activists, and many others have opened themselves up in their conversations with Tippett. In her book "Becoming Wise," the cumulative dialogue of her work acts as "a kind of cartography of wisdom about our emerging world." The book is a master class in the art of living, focused not simply on personal growth but on public life and human spiritual evolution.
