Benign prostatic hyperplasia affects more than 37 million men in the U.S. alone. Twelve times more common than prostate cancer, BPH occurs when the prostate gland surrounding the male urethra becomes enlarged with advancing age and begins to obstruct the urinary system. Dr. Marc A. Beaghler specializes in urology and is the CMH Robotics Medical Director and Co-Medical Operating Room Director, as well as a former Chief of Staff, and Chief of Surgery. He received his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, NE. He completed a residency at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Loma Linda, CA. Dr. Beaghler is also a member of the American Urological Association.
