INFORMATION SESSION Thurs. January 28th from 6pm-8pm Pathways Skills Development Building) 239 Clarence St ( at Horton), London, ON
New Canadian Media (NCM) welcomes submissions from journalists across Canada and Canadians living overseas. We encourage and privilege "new voices"- voices that are rarely heard in Canadian discourse, including journalism students, new immigrants and other media professionals who are unable to publish their work elsewhere.
WRITE FOR NCM - WE WANT CONTRIBUTORS
We are looking for writers who can read foreign languages and produce digests from various locations in Canada, summarizing/curating content from ethnic publications.
COME TO THIS INFO SESSION to find out more about NCM's areas of interest, guidelines for submission, and unique mentoring program for journalists, writers and creative content producers from immigrant communities.
HELP INFORM OUR UPCOMING LONDON TRAINING WORKSHOP
NCM will be hosting an all-day training workshop for up to 25 participants in London in the coming months. We want to hear from you! Come to the info session to learn more and let us know your preferred journalism training interests.
