Paul Rishell and Annie Raines
Singing blues guitarist Paul Rishell and his harmonica-blowing partner Annie Raines play refreshing, fun and truly impressive rearrangements of vintage blues, mostly of the rural sort.
Winners of a W.C. Handy Award for Blues Album of the Year, Paul and Annie have performed on diverse radio and TV shows, and recorded with Susan Tedeschi, Pinetop Perkins and Rory Block. Their latest album, A Night in Woodstock, received Blues Music Award nominations for Acoustic Artist of the Year and Acoustic Album of the Year.
Minnesota duo Annie and Rod Capps pen songs about broken things and poignant little ponderings and deliver them on stage with a rootsy vibe, a touch of twang, and a soulful groove.
