HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANIS....AGAIN!!!
Janis Joplin would have turned 73 on January 19th, 2016..and while she left this earth 25 years ago, her music lives on...as does all the wonderful music of her time. Come hear Sue LeGate Halford bring back the magic and emotion of Janis Joplin and so many more, while backed up by the incredible Dave and the Cool Beans!!
We had such a good time throwing her a birthday party last year, with all the music from the groups we would like to think she would have invited to her own birthday party....we decided to throw another one!!
Sue LeGate Halford brings a unique and truthful rendition to Janis' music .....and adds spice to Grace Slick, Cher, Linda Ronstadt and many more female vocalists.
Dave and the Cool Beans have quickly become a huge local favorite, with Dave Halford's searing vocals and rhythm guitar, Steve Sheppard on bass and Paul Turner on lead guitar....their three part harmony is fantastic, and when backed up by Nevada County's virtuoso drummer, John Basa, its a night you just don't want to miss!!
