Roman Timofeev
Russian pianist Roman Timofeev has been heard in music halls throughout Europe since 2004. While studying at The Moscow State Conservatory, where he was in the class of outstanding world-recognized pianists Naum Starkman and Ruvim Ostrovsky, Roman was already awarded the Grand Prix in Vorzel International Competition of Pianists in Kiev, Ukraine. In 2010 he participated in the prestigious competition Concours musical de France, Saint-Maur-des-Faussés, Paris where he won the First Prize. Roman's repertory embraces a wide range of musical compositions by Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Debussy, Scriabine, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev. Roman is a disciple of the Russian romantic school. Since 2013, he has been living and working in London ON.
