About Teaching Artist Gabriel Grilli
Gabriel comes to the Bay Area after 14 years in New York City as an actor, director, writer and teacher. H e has worked at theatres such as the Old Globe, Syracuse Stage, Geva Theatre, Texas Shakespeare Festival, Cider Mill Playhouse, NY Fringe Festival, ASCAP and HERE, and has taught at NYU, The New School, the School of Visual Arts, Penn State and Trinity Hall, Cambridge UK. The former Artistic Director of Venus Fly Trap, his original multidisciplinary theatre pieces include Strange Desire, identity, Stalking Christopher Walken, and The Windows of Albert Camus. Gabriel has an MFA in Directing from Penn State University and a BFA in Acting from Hofstra University.
