Saturday Clay Drop-in Studio (Adult)

Saturdays from January 16th until March 19th
10:00 am to 12:00 pm
$15 for members
$25 for non-members
Instructor: Verge Staff Artists
Advance registration recommended, but drop-ins welcome
10 lbs clay and basic materials provided
Demonstration of clay techniques for new clay artists at 10 am
Receive basic instruction and make the clay sculpture or pottery of your mind's eye. Already a budding ceramicist? Gain extra practice and/or meet some new people. Be sure to look at the Essential Notes below for more info about this studio.
Essential Notes:
-Studios are not a class with formal lessons but an introductory studio sessions. You'll learn basic techniques through a demonstration but be free to make work of your choosing. If you are looking for more guided instruction, look at our offerings in our Studio-intensive classes.
-The piece you make in your first clay session will be available two weeks to fire and be ready to glaze.
-Work you have glazed will be ready for pickup three weeks from the date you complete your glazing session.
-We are not responsible for work that has been damaged during the firing process.
-Any ceramic work from any classes or studios we have from 2015 should be picked up by 6:00 pm Saturday, January 30. It will be disposed of after this time!
