The Freeze!
Members of The Freeze include Andrew "Jelly Donut" Bancroft, Daveed "Mr." Diggs, Kyra "Super K" Gordon, Brendan "Opey" Hill, Olive "Junkyard" Mitra, Lauren "L Werd" Nagel, Sanjay "PIOM" Pardanani, Brian "Gift of Godiven" Rodvien, Mike "Agent" Smith, and Anthony "Two Touch" Veneziale. Six of the ten members are teachers and the show highlights the importance and power of WORDS. The Freeze looks to use freestyle rap as an new form of improvisational theater / music to tell honest, heartfelt and unbelievably hilarious stories.
The Freeze has taught Freestyle Rap / Empowerment Workshops from the United Nations International School in NYC to Sonoma Academy in Santa Rosa, CA. They have performed all over the world and can be seen throughout the Bay Area, in Berkeley with Mortified at the Shattuck Downlow and in the upcoming San Francisco Improv Festival.
