Tonight we feature Canadian blueswoman Treasa Levasseur. She's piano-pounding, funny, gutsy, bilingual chanteuse who received a JUNO nomination for her last album, and now has a brand new one out called Broad. She plays across Canada on a regular basis, and is starting to break into the American music scene with a mainstage performance at last summer's Philadelphia Folk Festival.
Boston singer-songwriter Sarah Blacker brings joy and well-being to her audience with quirky, catchy songwriting and stand-out vocals. With a folk-rock, jazzy sound that has drawn comparisons to Regina Spektor and Joni Mitchell, Sarah takes the stage with her guitar, ukulele and mandolin, supported by Eran Shaysh on percussion. She tours full-time, and works part-time as a music therapist for children with special needs.
