National Child Traumatic Stress Network's Child Welfare Trauma Toolkit 101 Training
The toolkit teaches strategies for using trauma-informed practice to enhance the safety, permanency, and well-being of children and families. This training also identifies and explores trauma-related needs of children and families, resiliency, and enhancing the well-being of those in the helping profession and best practice cross system collaboration.
This training is open to child welfare employees, school employees, juvenile justice, foster / resource parents, community based providers, medical providers, advocates, faith-based leaders, Guardian Ad Litem and anyone that works to support youth and families in the Piedmont Region (Cabarrus, Davidson, Rowan, Stanly and Union County).
Snacks will be provided. Lunch is on your own.
