Sword And Shield and Physics!!!!
This is a sword and shield class that takes a close look at Newton's Laws of Motion in relation to the physics of hand weapons, motion of the human body and stage combat. Students will learn the to 'act the weight of the weapon' while learning to wield these massive theatrical props in choreographed combat. Newton's Laws of Motion are used in exercises and choreography to create the illusion that actors are 'hitting hard' in staged combat.
