EDDY'S - by Sean McKay - Venus/Adonis Theater Festival 2016
A deteriorating dive bar struggles to survive in a fading Southern town. It's inhabitants are forced to face their own irrelevance, and ward off their self-hatred with stories, spirits, and delusions. When a mysterious woman offers opportunities for redemption, long-buried tensions are exposed and ignited. Perceptions of self bend and fracture under the burden of inconvenient realities.
