The Maydays Performance Longform Improvisation Course Spring 2016
In this Level 2 longform improvisation course, the emphasis remains away from shortform games and towards a more fluid and versatile kind of improvised comedy and theatre. Just like the Maydays perform themselves. We teach you techniques to create whole shows from a simple one-word suggestion, a monologue, or a newspaper article.
You'll learn how to create longer, more subtle and detailed scenes and explore a much wider range of improv possibilities. We also offer you the freedom to create your own new forms with the guidance of experienced members of The Maydays.
The 8 week course runs every Tuesday from the 2nd February through to the 22nd March 7pm - 10pm. The course culminates in a performance showcase, date TBC
