Target Free Sundays: Hands On: The Laundromat Project
Harlem is a hub of cultural significance, black identity and abundance. Looking at the exhibition Harlem Postcards Fall/Winter 201516, participants will create postcards inspired by Harlem using a variety of materials in an assortment of hues, such as textured papers, thread and color pencils. Everyone will walk away with a one-of-a-kind postcard to send to family and friends!
This Hands On is a special collaboration with The Laundromat Project, a community-based non-profit arts organization committed to making art more accessible.
