Port Townsend Wearable Art Show 2016
The 6th Annual Port Townsend Wearable Art Show will be held May 7, 2016 at Fort Worden McCurdy Pavilion in beautiful Port Townsend, WA. AND...the RUNWAY IS BACK! This amazing extravaganza has sold out every year with guests waiting in line in anticipation. 30 to 35 artist"s work is picked by our panel of jurors out of over 70 entries. The artist's creations are modeled in "performance" and judged by both our judge and the audience. Awards include Best-in-Show, Second Place, Third Place, People's Choice and Best Student Work. It is a feast for the eyes and the imagination. Our show offers a place for this artistic expression, builds community and raises money for the most amazing local fund, the Jefferson County Community Foundation Fund for Women and Girls. The Fund awards grants each year to local non-profit organizations that submit a project that will benefit women and girls of Jefferson County.
