Jonathan Kruk's "A Christmas Carol" at Tompkins Corners
"A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens performed as a Dramatic Solo Rendition by Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk. Listen and watch this gifted tale teller in period garb transform into over thirty characters performing the Dickens holiday classic of hope and redemption. Jim Keyes accompanies with original music performed on instruments ranging from pump organ to harp.
The performance runs about one hour with Jim Keyes opening with a lively sing-along of The Twelve Days of Christmas.
Jonathan Kruk performs locally at schools, historic sites and libraries. Selected "Best Storyteller in the Hudson Valley," his recordings have garnered Parent's Choice and N.A.P.P.A. awards and the Sons of the American Revolution gave Jonathan their Citizenship Medal. He's been featured at the Hudson River Clearwater Festival, New York Historical Society, CBS Sunday Morning, ABC Good Morning America, the National Geographic Channel, The History Channel, The O'Reilly Factor and Al-Jazeera America.
This performance is suitable for children 8 years old and over.
