The Poetry of Song & Wine: An Intimate Evening with Andre Feriante

We're pleased to welcome back one of our long-time favorite Seattle musicians, Andre Feriante, whose beautiful music we've been enjoying for many years. Andre is coming to The Barrel Thief to perform a special guitar concert on the last Sunday in December, and we're pairing his concert with special flights of wine.

Andre will present his current show "StringStories", a fusion of flamenco, classical and Brazilian style music played on multiple guitars, exotic ukuleles and banjos. In this show, Andre takes you on a journey that celebrates the power of music, poetry and stories.

Feriante has traveled and played concerts internationally for over 30 years and his show is designed to move you and transport you to mystical places in your own imagining. Andre is one of the only guitarists of his generation to have studied with the great Andres Segovia. He has taken his classical training and applied it to many other string instruments and improvisation. He presents a show that is varied and full of surprises: Bach, Rumi, Leonard Cohen, Beatles, and original composition on one-of-a-kind, hand-made instruments.
