Vinyl Albums Live:VI
Presented by KMase Productions and 105.9 The Rebel, "Vinyl Albums Live: VI" will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at The Palace Theater in Syracuse, NY. Doors @ 7PM. Sponsored by AmeriCU Credit Union, one dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to Signature Music, holistic education for teen musicians in Syracuse.
Our January show will debut three iconic 70's rock albums performed in their entirety. The three bands will feature 20 Syracuse musicians in total with ten who are new to the Vinyl Albums Live family!
Albums to be performed:
The Eagles' 1976 album Hotel California
Rolling Stones' 1971 album Sticky Fingers
Bruce Springsteen's 1975 album Born To Run
Released in December of 1976, Hotel California is The Eagle's fifth studio album. Containing the singles "Life in the Fast Lane" and "New Kid in Town", the album's title track won the 1977 GRAMMY for RECORD OF THE YEAR and the album later went on be ranked # 37 on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of The 500 GREATEST ALBUMS OF ALL TIME. Released in April of 1971, Sticky Fingers was The Rolling Stones's eleventh studio album. It achieved triple platinum certification in the US and contains the iconic singles "Brown Sugar", "Wild Horses", "Can't You Hear Me Knocking", and the sweeping ballad "Moonlight Mile". It is ranked # 63 on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Central New York musicians who will be performing Sticky Fingers are:

It was his third studio album and it's success led to Bruce being the first rock star to be on the covers of both Time and Newsweek at the same time. Containing the singles "Born to Run","Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out","Thunder Road" and "Jungleland", the album was ranked # 18 on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
