"Men of Wealth, Men of Letters: Henry Huntington and the Builders of California's Great Libraries"
This lecture will examine the relationship between the scholars who use research libraries and the millionaires who created and built those libraries--two groups of individuals who would seem to have little in common. Lecturer: Albert L. Hurtado, Los Angeles Times Distinguished Fellow in American History and Travis Chair in Modern American History at the University of Oklahoma.
