Flash fiction is a phenomenon that is prevalent in the world of fiction writing. Imagine writing a short fiction piece with only 500 words. In this class you will learn how to write a complete story with beginning, middle, and end, while developing a character in the story with minimal words. We will be using artwork at The Bloom Arts Center for inspiration. This class requires a notebook and pen/pencil or Laptop/Macbook.
About the Instructor: Author-Poet R. MonaLeza was voted 2014 Best of the Bay/Best Spoken Word Artist, is a Professor at the University of Tampa, and Hostess for First Stop Poetry open mic.This powerful artist uses her work in several genres to create awareness about societal issues we face today. MonaLeza is no stranger to the mic or delivering dynamic performances.
**This event does not take place at our normal LitSpace location at the Morean Arts Center. It takes place at Bloom Arts Center.
