Alegio Chocolate wraps Slow Food principles into every bite. The chocolate comes from the island of Principe, grown without artificial fertilizer or pesticides. Production employs local people with few resources and comes to us by the most direct route. Slow Food leader, Ann Duwe, has been to Principe and can tell us more about local conditions.
