Author Daniel C. Cooper, a music historian whose projects have included both re-issuing and historic documentation of American music and musicians, from Latin to Rhythm and Blues to Country.  His work with post-war rhythm and blues in Nashville earned him a Grammy, as well as recognition from the NAACP.

Songwriter Karlyn DeSteno, whose distinct alto voice, songwriting, and storytelling style is informed by craft songwriters and is by turns heartbreaking and funny, addressing spiritual conundrums, moldy housing, city living, and friendship.

Karlyn will be playing a set of new and old originals on piano and guitar. This set will include a debut of the Christmas song she wrote in 2012 and never played live 'til now.

Author Alex Dolan - a writer and musician. His  first book, "The Euthanist", came out in June this year, and his second book is scheduled to be published in 2016.  He will be reading from "The Euthanist", a literary thriller about the death-with-dignity movement.

Filmmaker Kevin Epps is a community activist and award-winning filmmaker. He grew up in Bayview-Hunters Point and honed his skills by working on public access shows, and taking filmmaking classes at the Film Arts Foundation.

In 2002, his debut documentary, "Straight Outta Hunter's Point", won local and national acclaim, launched him into the spotlight and kicked off a celebrated independent film career, which also included: Rap Dreams (2006), The Black Rock (2009), Straight Outta Hunters Point (2012).

Today, Kevin Epps continues to work on films and storytelling projects. He spend most of his days working on www.filmbread.com, a crowdfunding platform for filmmakers, creators and storytellers.

Comedian Zahra Noorbakhsh is a feminist, satirist, and Iranian American comedian. She is a contributor to the NY Times Featured anthology, "Love Inshallah: The Secret Love Lives of American Muslim Women." The New Yorker Magazine dubbed her one-woman show "All Atheists Are Muslim" a highlight of the Int'l New York City Fringe Theater Festival. Her newest solo-show "Hijab and Hammerpants" is set to debut this year at Stage Werx Theater in San Francisco.

Pitta of the Mind (Maw Shein Win and Amanda Chaudhary)

Songwriter/guitarist Roger Rocha. Rocha is an American songwriter, guitarist and vocalist from San Francisco, California of Mexican American and Scottish-Irish origin.

He is perhaps best known as guitarist for the group 4 Non Blondes. Artistic endeavors run in his family - he is the grandson of abstract expressionist artist, Clyfford Still.

Rocha now sings and plays guitar with the psychedelic indie rock group The Goldenhearts.

Author Maw Shein Win - , "Ruins of a Glittering Palace"

With songwriter Dawn Oberg (pictured) as your MC! Dawn Oberg is a San Francisco-based songwriter and an active member of the city's literary community. Nashville Scene calls her music "a more classic style of American jazz-influenced pop." Oberg's original Christmas single titled "Salvation Army Santa" is out now and features horn arrangements and trombone by Mike Rinta (Sly & the Family Stone, Herbie Hancock, Buddy Guy).
